Executive Director

Rick C Phillips assumed the role of Executive Director at Yakima’s Union Gospel Mission on June 1, 1997.

As Assistant Director of the Yakima Union Gospel Mission Ministries from 1988-97, Rick applied his previous experience as a building contractor to the Mission’s expansion, building and relocation program.    

Prior to coming to Yakima, Rick received his B.A. from Biola University.   He worked as a General Building contractor for 12 years in Central California and served on the Board of Directors of the Sacramento Union Gospel Mission for 5 years.   Rick was licensed as a minister of the Gospel in 1988 through the Conservative Baptist Association.
