LOST CREEK VILLAGE CAMP

We minister to thousands of campers, providing over 11,000 camper nights per year in this beautiful camping facility located in the Wenatchee National Forest. Our objectives are: To have the facilities in best operation, so that all the campers would have a safe and enjoyable camping experience.

Volunteer opportunities:
  • CLEANING: ongoing, never ending, grounds as well as lodge and cabins
  • PAINTING: many projects are available, but we need to approve the paint color and type
  • CARPENTRY: some cabins need repair and/or finishing including the new Couples Lodge
  • ELECTRICAL: one cabin needs rewiring. Other areas need upgrading.
  • PLUMBING: the cabin "up the hill" needs improved plumbing
  • LANDSCAPING: we have boardwalks to build, etc., but projects have to be approved by the forestry people. Horseshoe pits and Volleyball court need renovation. The 'wild' grounds need the brush shredded and spread as chips.
  • ROOFING: A number of cabins need their roofs replaced
  • WOODCUTTING: This is an ongoing process, since our source of heat is wood
