FAMILY SHELTER

Seventeen rooms are set aside to shelter women and families. The Family Shelter Directors work with these people trying to help them solve their immediate needs. Clothing, toiletries, and meals are provided as well as a safe place to stay.

Volunteer opportunities --

• CLOTHING ROOM: sorting/organizing/maintenance/distribution of clothing

• SEWING projects

• LAUNDERING/sorting/organizing linens

• DEEP CLEANING of the rooms

• DECORATING: special projects

• WRAPPING: Holiday gifts (November-December)

• CHILDREN: activities, projects

• OFFICE work
