Dental care is limited to oral health examinations and
tooth extractions. For other, more advanced procedures, the
dentist will recommend a clinic where further care can be received.
Health care, provided by area physicians and nurses, consists of (but not limited to) minor emergency proceedures, health screenings, prescriptions and limited dispensing of drugs and medications, and recommendations for other medical treatments.
To help or for a tour, call Becky St. John at 248-4510 extension 305. |

| The
UGM’s clinic invites area doctors, nurses, and dentists to volunteer
and help the homeless with some of their medical needs; those persons
who have no money or resources for care anywhere else.
Foot care has been provided every two weeks, by one of Yakima's Podiatrists, for several years. General foot care consists of nail trimming, treatment of growths and "athlete's foot" (common among homeless persons), and recommendations for proper foot wear. |
