Spiritual Services
The Yakima Union Gospel Mission provides evangelistic Chapel services 5 times a day. There are two in Spanish; two in English and one for the Family Shelter. The services are held at 12:00 noon before lunch and at 7:30 before bedtime. A variety of evangelical Churches participate and they are coordinated by our Chaplains and Family Shelter.
In addition to the Chapel services we have daily Bible classes in the mornings and afternoons Monday through Friday. Each Thursday morning from 7:00 - 9:00 am the mission offers a prayer breakfast open to the community. Many of these classes are taught by our Volunteer teachers, Chaplains and Mission Director. They are in depth studies dealing with a variety of subjects. All are biblically educated and offer years of pastoral and counseling experience.
