The “Madison House” Youth Community Center is provided as a safe haven for Yakima's inner-city youth. Located at Spruce and 4th St., we are in the center of Yakima's gang and drug district. Kids in these neighborhoods know the pain involved with gangs, drug and alcohol abuse, domestic violence and poverty. By providing these youth with a safe place, free from the issues they face at home, they have a place where they can still be kids.

Youth activities include: group games, homework help and individualized tutoring, arts and crafts, after school snacks, music lessons, athletic teams, video games, Bible studies, daily meals for dinner and a discipleship program called 4 -12. We also run several weeks of summer camps on our downtown campus and at Lost Creek Village Camp for underprivileged youth.

The Youth Center also runs a clothing bank open weekly on Thursday mornings between 9:00am and 12:00, giving away clothing and household goods (linens, dishes, utensils, cookware and furniture) to women and families in our community who are in need.
