Mission/Vision Statement

THE VISION OF THE UGM:  We seek to serve the Lord by meeting the spiritual, physical, and training needs of the least, the last, and the lost, and assist His Church by providing opportunities to express their compassion and concern that men, women and children might turn from sin unto faith in Christ and through transformed lives become mature contributing members of the Christian community.

In order to achieve this vision the UGM intends

·   to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ,

·   to nurture new Christians

·   to rehabilitate men, women, and families through the conduct of a Mission;

·   to engage in auxiliary activities deemed necessary in furnishing emergency aid to those in need,

·   to be an advocate on behalf of the homeless, the poor and the needy,

·   to inform the public regarding the unique needs of the poor and needy,

·   to educate the public regarding the services of the Mission,

·   to create channels of ministry and service between the public and the needs of the poor and    homeless.

·   to foster fellowship in cooperation with missions and other rescue works through out the United States and other lands.
